Get course advice and check class availability ->Questions before choosing robotics courses or WebApp
My child has never coded. Where should we start?
IOTBot and Microbit suit learners with some programming experience. If your child has never coded, ask for a teacher assessment or begin practising block coding through our coding courses before progressing to robotics projects when ready.
How does IOTBot differ from Microbit and Arduino?
IOTBot combines LEGO Technic robot structures, coding and a console connecting IoT devices. Microbit emphasises electronics, sensors and microcontrollers for lower secondary learners. Arduino progresses to more complex circuits and projects according to experience, supporting engineering portfolio work.
Does WebApp & Database require previous robotics study?
WebApp & Database focuses on software, C# and databases. The guide does not specify a compulsory previous course. Teachers assess programming experience and learning goals before recommending a level.
Does the fee include the robotics kit?
IOTBot requires an additional equipment deposit. Microbit equipment is charged separately, and Arduino equipment depends on the project. Before enrolling, confirm kit prices, equipment lists, delivery costs, deposit or return conditions and any required software or licences with our teachers.
How can we check class availability and enrol?
Contact the Raise Genius School teaching team and share your child’s age, coding experience, interests, project goals and available equipment. We can recommend a course, explain costs and confirm current class availability.
